C is already 4 months and I can't believe how the time has passed! She has such a personality and I love every second with her. We have had some more family visits but were glad last weekend was just us. She is such a happy baby she makes everything super easy. Last night we finally got back to a good sleeping schedule and I hope it sticks. She is very aware now of everything going on around her and is able to grab at things and hold them. She is chatting and smiling up a storm and is in love with Clover, pretty sure the feelings are mutual! I swear I'll post the pictures soon, I just keep forgetting from the home computer and not on my phone. We can't wait to meet daddy!!
Corey is doing as well as he can be over there. We are hoping just about 6ish weeks left but we'll see what this sequester does to his deployment. I can't wait to see the look on Corey's face when he meets his baby love for the first time!! :)
C has her "4 month" check up next Monday so we'll update some stats then. She'll be closer to 5 months but that's the earliest she can do her shots.
We are going to start some food this weekend since it's right in between the suggested 4-6 months and my mom/Wissy will be here to video tape it for Corey. I'm going to start with Avacadoes in the baby bullet and instead of water mix it with breast milk (thank goodness for a slight over supply). I'll be doing just one "meal" a day at dinner time to introduce the concept of eating. We'll try bannans, sweet potatoes, and a few other vegetables between now and her actually turning 7 months and then each mont we'll add a few more things and eventually allow her to eat what we are eating!! :) As much as I want to stop her from growing older I'm excited to share food with her since she is already reaching for it!!
We started sign language this weekend. For now we are just doing milk and bath time. Soon we will add eat, more, and all done. Eventually we will add mom and dad.
Hope everyone is doing well!! Thanks for catching up with us! :)
